Police Licensing Services (Firearms) is responsible for:

  • Issue and renewal of all firearms licences.
  • Consideration of all original firearms and additional firearms for existing licences.
  • Approval of Temporary and Interstate permits.
  • Maintenance of the Firearms Registry System (FRS).
  • Regulation of businesses involved in the use of firearms.
  • Firearms licence revocations
