About the Sex Crime Division

The Sex Crime Division works closely with police in regional Western Australia and investigates crimes throughout the state. The division operates as part of the Specialist Crime Portfolio and consists of the following six areas:

• Child Abuse Squad
• Child Assessment and Interview Team
• Family Violence State Coordination Unit
• Online Child Exploitation Squad
• Sex Assault Squad
• Sex Offender Management Team
