The WA Police Licensing Enforcement Division manages the compliance and enforcement of licensing across Western Australia, as required by the following legislation:
- Liquor Control Act (1988);
- Security and Related Activities (Control) Act;
- Pawnbroker and Second-hand Dealers Act;
- Weapons Control Act; and
- Firearms Act
This includes developing statewide strategies to tackle alcohol consumption and illicit drug use associated with licensed premises.
